BlacksheepOffroad provides professional 4x4 driving instruction and training. Regular group courses are conducted from our Georgetown CA location, and fully outfitted multi-day trips are scheduled seasonally on California's famous Rubicon Trail.

Regular group classes are scheduled throughout the fall, winter, and spring months, October through April. Courses fill up fast, so book ahead! Class size is kept small for maximum effectiveness.

Private courses are available by appointment, year-round, 7-days a week, so that your course is tailored to your specific vehicle, skill level and interest.

All meals and beverages are included in your BlacksheepOffroad’s Rubicon Adventure (please let us know what you like to drink besides water). We also provide clean, quality tents, pads and sleeping bags for our guests, as well as propane stoves and all cooking and cleaning gear. Coolers are provided in each Jeep to keep beverages and perishables cold and fresh. Restrooms are provided by Mother Nature.

Our guide Jeeps carry tools, first aid, a satellite phone and recovery equipment for unexpected breakdowns and sticky situations along the trail. Every Jeep is outfitted with a fire extinguisher and other emergency equipment. BlacksheepOffroad’s Custom Jeeps are purpose-built for crawling the Rubicon Trail.

Aside from all of the gear and equipment, our experienced and knowledgeable guides will provide spotting, recovery, 4×4 instruction, and information about the trail and the spectacular country it traverses
